Activities for outreach and community at St Edmund’s Church Taverham

The Social Committee organizes a series of events throughout the year involving the community and raising money for different projects within the church. These include quizzes and games evenings, a sponsored cycle ride, a barbeque, jumble sales and a May Fair.

Every few years St Edmund’s organizes a Flower festival that involves groups and organisations throughout Taverham. For pictures of the most recent Flower Festival at St Edmund’s, please see here.

We are also involved with other aspects of the community in Taverham and Thorpe Marriott. St Edmund’s Church has stalls at the annual Taverham Fair, and we are involved in visiting and ministry with local Residential and Nursing homes, each of the local schools, the uniformed organizations and the Taverham Day Care Centre.
