Activity groups for crafts and fun

There are also opportunities within our church to get together to make things, have fun and use our gifts and skills for worthwhile causes. There are also groups where we can share a common interest, or just enjoy ourselves.

There are a number of groups where we can do this:

Busy Bees

A group that meets once a month and makes goods to sell at the various fairs held in Taverham that are organized by the church and within the wider community.

Knitting Group

Meets on the third Tuesday for people to ‘knit together’ (this is what the group is called) and to make things for various charities and causes

Games evenings

Once a month on the third Tuesday people come together to play board games – a time of fun and fellowship

Walking group

Walks in the Norfolk countryside on the fourth Tuesday of each month that attract both church members and others. The walks are usually about 6 miles followed by a meal at a local pub.
