For the very young

For pre-school children and their carers we have St. Ed’s Teds. This group meets fortnightly on Thursday afternoons from 2.30pm in the church building.

It is a friendly environment for parents and carers to meet, and the children are free to run, walk or crawl around the church and carpeted areas. There is also singing, crafts, toys and refreshments in an informal atmosphere.

This group often provides families who are planning to have their children baptized at St Edmund’s an opportunity to meet members of the church and come into the building in a relaxed way. It is also an opportunity for those who have been baptized to join in with what is going on.

There are also two all-age acts of worship on Sunday mornings each month, as well as all age services at special times such as Christmas, Easter, Harvest and Mothering Sunday.

We also have a growing programme of activities and teaching at St Edmund’s for children of all ages. For further details please have a look at our Children’s pages
